In Germany, six teams comprised of people with and without diabetes will be taking part in the 24 hour bicycle race "Rad am Ring" at the Nürburgring on 23-24 August. The teams will participate as part of the "Entscheidendes Bewegen" ("Moving decisively") initiative, which aims to show that people with diabetes can be just as fit as anyone else. The teams will also be raising money for diabetes.
