			<title>"Entscheidendes bewegen" bicycle event</title>

				In Germany, six teams comprised of people with and without diabetes will be taking part in the 24 hour bicycle race "Rad am Ring" at the Nürburgring on 23-24 August. The teams will participate as part of the "Entscheidendes Bewegen" ("Moving decisively") initiative, which aims to show that people with diabetes can be just as fit as anyone else. The teams will also be raising money for diabetes. For every kilometre completed, one euro will be donated to programmes for children with diabetes.			]]>

				In Germany, 25 people with and without diabetes will be taking part, under the slogan "Entscheidendes Bewegen" ("Moving decisively"), in the "Vattenfall Cyclassics" in Hamburg on 7 September. The aim of the initiative is to show that people with diabetes can be just as fit as anyone else, and the participants also want to use whatever means they have to improve the public perception of people with diabetes. For every kilometre completed, one euro will be donated to programmes that help children with diabetes.			]]>

At the age of 17, Jonathan was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.  Now (age 20) he's turned his passion for making films that can make a difference, and his desire to take control of his disease, into a powerful Anthem-of-Hope for millions of people around the world with diabetes.

Featuring: NFL Players, State Governors, Mayors, Hollywood Celebrities and more, all offering words of encouragement to people living with this deadly-disease. The film also touches on the importance of proper diabetes management, diet and exercise.  And sends the strong message that "PREVENTION IS THE BEST DEFENSE"... Please GET TESTED.
